My wired computer keyboard emits electromagnetic waves that are different depending on keystroke. This can be observed through my electric guitar's pickup.

I wanted to take some pictures off my mom's camera and was on my way to do the traditional method of plugging the SD card into my computer. Then I noticed the NFC symbol on the side of the camera. Figuring I could just get the images i needed via a quick NFC with my phone, I excitedly started tinkering with it to find out how. I ended up on a menu on the camera that told me to tap the phone to the camera. Kinda strange since I didn't really select any photos to transfer yet, but i did it anyway. It took me to the Google Play Store page for a piece of proprietary Nikon software. Invasive, I thought, that they would want to be installed on my phone. I started regretting about my decision to try this method. I installed the app, and while sitting at a really long loading screen that just said "Getting Information, Please Wait", I started wondering if it would ask me to register for some service. Luckily, I was instead greeted by a screen asking me to turn on bluetooth. Bluetooth? I only wanted to NFC. But i kept down the rabbit hole, and complied. Next it told me to touch my phone to the camera again. Finally, some NFC going on for once, i thought. Upon doing so, the phone paired to the camera via bluetooth. I guess it was kinda like a shortcut, but with many more steps than the actual way to do it. I did the pairing, and was given the option to download photos, which i obviously selected. But it's not that easy of course! Y'know what radio in my phone WASN'T being used? Good old Wi-Fi! Nikon couldn't let me get away with that. The phone told me I needed to connect to the phone via wifi now. Unbelievable. I figured it would complete the ritual of invading my home by connecting to my home router, but I was wrong. The camera instead hosts its own AP, which my phone then connects to. I guess that's better than connecting to my home network, but i still felt like i had been violated at every turn. After all this, and only after all this, was I able to download the photos I wanted.
I just deleted my facebook account after having it for 9 years. I never used the dang thing anyway, not within the past 5 years at least
I got my wireless NIC working on Linux again! All i had to do was use the connect button from a different desktop environment
I ran a system upgrade on Antergos Linux (arch) a while ago and now my USB wifi adapter doesnt work. It works to connect to unsecured networks, but wont connect to my WPA2 home router. My laptop has the same distro and kernel version, and it uses the adapter just fine. What should i do?
This common plant, mullein, is most noticeable by its felt-like leaves.
The leaves can be smoked, which produces a smooth, thick white smoke that supposedly (and somewhat ironically) helps with chest congestion. The plant can be found pretty much anywhere in the northern hemisphere.
On August 7th I got my crappy drone stuck in a tree two or three doors down and 30 feet up. Today it has fallen, and it still fucking works.
I really wanna put my 6hp lawn mower engine on my bicycle after doing a horizontal conversion, though i dont think its viable. I will have to settle for my tiny 32cc weed wacker engine
