SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: I tried them and now I think I know why my code didn't work. It was intended to be used in the Python IDLE IDE. IDLE shows the result of a code even after the execution is over. Thank you for correcting that.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: When I tested the code it worked, I'll try it again in about 3 hours (both versions).
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: Yeah tan^-1 =/= 1/tan. As I understand it, inverse of a function is reversed process of the function. Example f(X): X+5 = y, so inverse would be f(y): y-5 = X, but I might be wrong here, because our teacher didn't say anything about it, I just made this connection I don't know what job I want to do later, but it probably will be something with computers. Have you run the code using Python 2 or 3?
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: No, 2^-2 = 1/2^2 = 0.25 but I ment more like m/s = ms^1 or Hz = 1/s = s^-1 You can do roots by using powers, but it would be like ^2√2 = 2^1/2 = 1.14........ Can you give an example of such equation?
SomeName666 commented on Zen1th's post: Yeah, ZeroNet is great
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: Do you not use powers of negative numbers?
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: I listen to music (power metal to be more specific), I code in my free time when I fell like it plus my school teaches Python (that's why I created this problem, to create rectangles at an angle [(see code)](http://mojserver2.ddns.net/Python/Sqr&Rec.py)) and I can't draw, my drawing skills are somewhere between a toddler and a talented first grader at elementary school (here it's age 6 - 7)
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: Probably yes, but I can't tell you for sure since I haven't graduated highschool yet, I'll be able to answer this question in about 3 years. Sadly, our highschools don't teach complex numbers, I know that for sure.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: Slovakia, Slovenia is a different country (funny thing is, even postal services sometimes get it wrong, so don't feel bad) Yeah, they are from Slovak alphabet [(example sentence, without our special symbols)](http://mojserver2.ddns.net/.hidden/EPSON004~2.jpg)
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: It's not Cyrillic, I don't know Cyrillic, it's Latin alphabet extended with our letter (š - read as sh, č - read as ch etc.), but in its handwritten version. Yes, we have English as second language.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: That's just written alphabet [(see image, letters aren't in alphabetical order)](http://mojserver2.ddns.net/.hidden/thumb.jpeg). But my handwriting is terrible, I admit it.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: tan^-1 is the inverse function of tan, so if you use the result of tan as input for tan^-1, you will get tan's original input [(see image)](http://mojserver2.ddns.net/.hidden/Screenshot_20190527-160347.jpeg). I also thought math was THE universal language.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: I'm from Slovakia. It's 'tg', we use that instead of 'tan', but it's the same function.
SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @leftside: We use dots to express right angles. I'm afraid that it'll be unreadable if I decrease the resolution. Thanks for reminding me, added what to solve.

SomeName666 commented on Somename666's post: @Mg0: Fat32. Last time I used the USB, it was on a Linux system, maybe I'll see something on it, but I doubt it. @Kid Courageous: It's not video, that's PayDay 2 mods, I downloaded the game to a different computer so I used the USB to move the mods.

I'm so mad right now! My laptop won't boot my HDD with Manjaro, not even a live USB with Manjaro and I have no idea why, I'll see if it can boot Pop!_OS live USB.

Edit: For some reason Pop!_OS live USB boots, I'll get my stuff from the HDD and install that OS. If you know any reason why this works and that does not, please, tell me.

Kid Courageous · kidcourageous@zeroid.biton Jul 18, 2019Reply

Still having an issue? If it throws you into grub recovery try booting into the UEFI repair tools (usually F2 if applicable) and barring that go to bios and check to make sure any secure boot features are off. Making sure it's set to Legacy OS rather than UEFI-Only may help as well

Mg0 · mg0@zeroid.biton Jul 16, 2019Reply

Maybe an update to grub messed it up a bit, maybe it was because of a possible unclean shutdown or even an update to something that may trigger a grub.cfg reconstruction.

@SomeName666: Its funny, i wrote someone that everyone gets brainwashed, even me, so no doubt about it, i do like some music, but after all, im also just a result of this "Human" world.
I like relaxing music like Amazon rainforest sounds and crickets at night, but if you talk about actual singing music i like some non-english slower & chill 70's music.

UnusedUser · lostsoul@zeroid.biton Jun 22, 2019Reply

@leftside I agree with Lyrics, there's alot of propaganda hidden in modern songs like substance abuse, money and sex. (Even in TV-shows & Movies)
Its a mass-scale modern brainwashing industry ran by a certain group of people.

But i dont believe in a good or wrong, if you want to get brainwashed you need to decide yourself.

@leftside: I tried them and now I think I know why my code didn't work. It was intended to be used in the Python IDLE IDE. IDLE shows the result of a code even after the execution is over. Thank you for correcting that.

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton May 28, 2019Reply

@leftside: When I tested the code it worked, I'll try it again in about 3 hours (both versions).

leftside · leftside@zeroid.biton May 28, 2019Reply

I changed some codes to:

.
window=tkinter.Tk()
window.title("TEST")
window.geometry("500x500+100+100")
window.resizable(False, False)
.
canvas = tkinter.Canvas(window, relief="solid", bd=2);

canvas = tkinter.Canvas(height=500, width=500);

.

And moved canvas.pack(); to the bottom while adding window.mainloop(); at the bottom.

.

Now it shows graphical shapes.

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton May 28, 2019Reply

@leftside: Yeah tan^-1 =/= 1/tan. As I understand it, inverse of a function is reversed process of the function. Example f(X): X+5 = y, so inverse would be f(y): y-5 = X, but I might be wrong here, because our teacher didn't say anything about it, I just made this connection
I don't know what job I want to do later, but it probably will be something with computers.

Yes, I'm familiar to the power to the negative number aka apostrophe or inverse. But tan^-1 works in different way. It does not become 1/tan(), right?

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton May 28, 2019Reply

@leftside: No, 2^-2 = 1/2^2 = 0.25 but I ment more like m/s = ms^1 or Hz = 1/s = s^-1

leftside · leftside@zeroid.biton May 27, 2019Reply

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton May 27, 2019Reply

@leftside: tan^-1 is the inverse function of tan, so if you use the result of tan as input for tan^-1, you will get tan's original input (see image).

leftside · leftside@zeroid.biton May 27, 2019Reply

(So where are u from?)

leftside · leftside@zeroid.biton May 27, 2019Reply

We need to know CE and BE.
△CBE is propotional to △BAD.
As we know b(=CB) and AB, DB, AD by y1,y2,x1,x2, AB:b = DB:(CE) = AD:(BE).
Ex. if AB=2 and b=1, CE=0.5 DB and BE=0.5 AD.
.
By the way, what did you write on the left corner of the 7th line on the right section of your answer? 'log'? 'tan'?

i think that i have seen this already, i would recommend to gracefuly disconnect the USB cable (Windows has tray icon to disconnect drive) and if exist then also power cable. And reconnect again (maybe to different port? But i think it does not matter), i would do this on MS Windows. Still corrupted filesystem? close file explorer window and use Windows check disk tool (in drive properties). Once done, maybe try again gracefuly disconnect and connect again. If not fixed, maybe use chkdsk /f d: from within command line: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=chkdsk

Mg0 · mg0@zeroid.biton May 20, 2019Reply

@SomeName666: I don't think that's the case, windows does actually only auto mount the first partition, but it can use both afaik, you'd have to mount it (assign a letter in windows) to the second partition to use it. But there's still corruption :/

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton May 20, 2019Reply

@Mg0: Windows can use only the first partition on a USB stick, right? (That's a bug if I'm not mistaken) I had two partitions on the USB and I could use them both, so maybe Windows just shat itsefl and corupted the USB.

Mg0 · mg0@zeroid.biton May 20, 2019Reply

It may be FAT corruption or a change of filename encodings, I think the former is more likely. You'll probably face lots of FAT errors if trying to read that data. Mind to mount in read-only and if that doesn't work then try using photorec/testdisk to recover anything. Only after that you may try dosfsck (FAT equivalent of windows chkdsk in linux).

Pretty good so far, I'd say.

Is there a ban system on the ZeroNet? I would imagine there isn't.

Kaffie · kaffie@zeroid.biton Feb 07, 2019Reply

Yes and no. You can't "ban" someone off of zeronet itself. However, you can ban people from posting to your own sites. In terms of ZeroMe, you can be banned from posting on certain hubs (that ban you), but you can always just make your own hub and keep using the service.

You can't "ban" anyone from simply looking at a site. And you can't "ban" people from sites that aren't yours. So no matter what, zeronet is a haven for free speech.

@Somename666: Agree, political correctness has become an Obscenity! today..👎😕

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton Jan 28, 2019Reply

@Realjohndoe: I like that there's no censorship, it's definitely better to follow your own sense of morality compared to being forced to be "politically correct".

Realjohndoe · realjohndoe@zeroid.biton Jan 28, 2019Reply

p.s. I should have added copyright as another big Bullshit! excuse and disguise for censorship..👎

Zeronet has very powerful User! features for filtering content. Zeronet also has extremely powerful features for protecting free speech and freedom of expression.

In other words, you can control what You! do, and what You! see. But you can't control what other Users! do, or can see. Because no one has the right to that kind of fucking control over another person.

AWESOMENESS!!! Thanks @nofish: 👌😱😨🏃🎉🎊🎆🎇😂

Over the years I've run almost every kind of online site imaginable, for the greater good. And the biggest pain in the ass was always having to deal with censorship of one kind or another.

Competition disguised as censorship. Censorship disguised as obscenity (So-called child pornography, porn, sex trafficking Etc). Religious fanaticism disguised as censorship. Racism, xenophobia, mental illness, and stupidity disguised as censorship. Politics, power, ego, hegemony, delusions disguised as censorship.

But with Zeronet, you don't have to be responsible for that Bullshit anymore. You can let people be responsible for their own actions, and concentrate on being responsible for what You! do. heaven..👍😊

Yes there is.

There is the option to mute users and zites, that you don't like(or legally can view where you live). Build on top of that are blocklists, zites that contain users and zites someone else put on there. If enabled, your ZeroNet client will automatically treat every user and zite on that list as if you've muted them.
This all is local(on your computer), for global(on everyones computer) bans, there isn't really anything there. The owner of a zite can choose to implement moderating features or moderate himself(because zite owners=gods). However most zites do not remove content even if they have a moderation system, but rather hide it by default(in case of millchan) and a zite owner actually moderating the public content is rare, which has many reasons, but the most common one is that when moderation stops and censorship starts is something subjective, so most owners just don't moderate at all.

On here, for example, the only time(to my knowlage) something was actually removed(banned), was when someone posted childporn. Nofish stepped in and deleted it on the hubs he owned(most of the color ones), however the ones that where not on his hubs are actually still there, because the owner of that hub has left zeronet some time ago.

I just spent half an hour manualy downloading outdated packages, to find out that software that needed it just won't work.

SomeName666 · somename666@zeroid.biton Jan 27, 2019Reply

@Deliriumgoddesss: I found that i2pbote plugin, but older version, that needed outdated package, that package also had some dependencies and they had dependencies too, so you have like 20 packages you need and none of them are in apt repositories, 'cause they were replaced with newer versions and the new versions aren't compatible, so I had to manualy look for and download every single thing.

@Realjohndoe: The app worked terribly for me, I couldn't even press the three line to get to options, I could connect to the network, but not as me. It may be because my phone is old and the ROM I use is the first ever Android 8 for the phone.

Realjohndoe · realjohndoe@zeroid.biton Jan 28, 2019Reply

@Somename666: you can have both. The android app works well for me. Full node, plus multiuser mode. I'm thinking about running a public and private proxy in Linux on my phone at the same time..😊

As best I can tell. At a minimum, Zeronet provides an excellent backup to whatever other Internet social media presence you may have.

As we all painfully know, centralized and federated services can go down at the drop of a hat. And because they're highly censorship and anti free speech dependent, you can be arbitrarily banned or suspended without recourse.

Zeronet solves his problem. Zeronet provides a complete Internet social media ecosystem. Complete with email and other social media services, today!..👍😀

I don't really use much centralized or federated social media at this time. But if I ever do again I will be sure to provide links to my Zeronet/ZeroMe profile and email. This way any followers can easily reach me for updates if a centralized censorship dependent anti free speech service goes down. Or arbitrarily bands or suspends me.

I think having a Zeronet/ZeroMe type presence will become popular, if not essential for everyone. If only for the reasons stated above.

Thanks @nofish: 👍😀🗽

It is a young biosystem, so just help it develop and wait. I believe that it will finally become a giant because decentralization is more and more
significant in nowadays.

Zeronet just needs a more robust social media mode like Twitter and GnuSocial has. In addition to its already powerful Zerome social media mode.

Facebook may have a good social media mode too. But I don't know much about FB. Because I never really used Facebook much except for when it was first released. If I remember correctly, I liked Myspace better than FB.

I was a heavy Twitter user. But purely for fun and information. Sometimes I apparently got hundreds of thousands of views. But that was never my intention. In fact I used a pseudo anonymous identity to avoid the risk of an accidental Cult Of Personality.

In addition to the people I followed in my normal time line, I used categories of list extensively to further filter my interest.

But Twitter suffers from the same fatal flaw as all centralized Inernet social media, and pseudo decentralized federated social medias like GnuSocial.

Unfortunately both platforms are heavily dependent on censorship for there popularity, prophets and survival. Which leads to exploitation of the Users, and a distorted, skewed misrepresentation of the truth, aka "Fake News". Further it's antithetical to Netneutrality and the core principles of the internet.

I think Zeronet's highly decentralized design solves the aforementioned problems with centralized, and pseudo centralized social media platforms. I think Zeronet may represent the Holy Grail we have been looking for.

I think that as Zeronet's social media utility advances, so will its popularity and service to humanity. You don't really have to sell Zeronet, any more than you have to sell Bitcoin. Like Bitcoin, Zeronet's tremendous social utility will sell itself.

With respect to Freenet and another old favorite of mine Retroshare. Advances in mobile technology are breathing new life into programs and technologies that were well ahead of their time.

Retroshare has developed Android mobile apps. And apps like Linux Deploy and Termux can allow for running full Linux versions of Freenet, Retroshare, Zeronet and even Bitcoin Core.

"The future so bright, I gotta wear shades!"..👍😀🗽
