No (Tips: Read what is I2P before voting this)
Tor sucks, I2P powa!!!!!
I2P? Is that food?
Just let the users choose. I2p is slow but arguably harder to shut down and censor then TOR. TOR is only for.onion peers by default. Why not Just let the users choose?
With more and more P2P traffic coming to zeronet, see big file support, it makes much more sense to torrent over I2P, since every user becomes a node contributing bandwidth to the overall network. On tor P2P is discouraged because they leech and consume bandwidth without giving back.
It will work great. Im waiting
yes, would be awesome to have because much more things become possible like torrenting files over I2P.
Imagine anonymous sharing sites using torrents (not a good idea over tor) or webtorrent for streaming movies
i2p sucks and is easily sybil attacked to deanon users with only 2% of the nodes. There is a research paper and full demonstration of the attack out there
Yes, it should come. The i2p router should not be bundled though, so that ZN remains small and only those who want to use it will install i2p.
ZN should remain with Tor. Why:
1.Python with Java ? That cannot go well. :)
2.ZN client will be to heavy with integrated Java I2P with all the problems what Java has. If an extra I2P install is required not many will install it just for ZN.
3.I am aware that theoretically I2P is slightly more anonymous(supposing the same userbase level) however it is less tested then Tor because it has less userbase. And with the less userbase an I2P user is more receptive to a profiling attack - so finally less anonymous.
Here are arguments in favour of i2p (than tor)
I2P has received very little attention from the security community, and when they do pay attention to it they find huge security holes. Tor, while it has known flaws, gets a LOT of attention, and the network is much larger. I'm sticking with Tor.
Plus, JVM. No.
No. Need a work over I2P network too, but not an integration.
No, because I don’t care. Use TOR mostly for getting ZeroNet through a HTTP-Proxy. I2P will need direct connections if understood it correctly.
And not neccessary for a zombie apocalypse.
Those who say no, is it because you don't see it as a priority or because you don't want to see it happen ? And, why ?
